The 14th lunar day serves as a herald for the impending Full Moon, symbolized by the Pipe. This day marks a call to action, a time of active engagement when we beckon energies and resources into our lives.
A noteworthy aspect of the 14th lunar day is that it offers us a final opportunity in the current lunar month to effect change. This pertains to the plans, dreams, and objectives we set during the early days of this lunar cycle. Post Full Moon, there will still be favorable days for fresh beginnings, yet these will only materialize in the ensuing lunar month.
Hence, on the 14th lunar day, it’s imperative to recalibrate. Revisit the goals you established two weeks ago and ponder: Do these objectives still resonate with me? Is this still the path I wish to pursue? If you’ve diligently practiced the preceding days of this cycle, your perspective might have evolved. Be courageous in making adjustments, apply them to all facets of your life, for today, it will yield positive results.
Invocation and Reflection
As the 14th lunar day is associated with challenges, it’s an apt time to contemplate what and how we invite into our lives. The first exercise is emotionally demanding, so select a suitable time and place, considering it may evoke tears. Sit down and list everything about your life that you find dissatisfying, that causes unhappiness or suffering. Then, proceed to read each statement aloud, appending the phrase “I invoked … into my life” to each. For instance, if “a monotonous job” and “illness” feature on your list, you would say:
“I invoked a monotonous job into my life.”
“I invoked illness into my life.”
It’s essential to assume responsibility for your life and recognize that our current circumstances are largely shaped by our conscious and subconscious thoughts. Reflect on how and why you may have summoned these negative elements into your life.
Perhaps the monotonous job resulted from a fear of challenging yet stimulating tasks or a belief that work couldn’t be engaging. Alternatively, it could have been a stepping stone toward your entrepreneurial aspirations.
Upon analyzing each item, draw conclusions. Do you still wish to summon these into your life? If not, cease the invocation.
Harnessing the Subconscious
But how can you beckon into your life what you genuinely desire? Enlist the assistance of your subconscious mind, which operates more intelligently than your conscious mind. The subconscious comprehends concrete imagery involving all the senses, not abstract notions. Phrases like “I want to be happy” are ineffective; instead, create vivid, sensory-rich mental images associated with your goals.
For the following exercise, select a goal you’ve harbored for some time, such as a beach vacation. Your task is to record at least 50 delightful experiences and things you can do or have when this aspiration becomes reality. Be specific, engaging all your senses. For example:
“When I’m at the seaside, I’ll recline on the cool sand, inhale the salty sea breeze, listen to the soothing waves, and relish the breathtaking sunset.”
Try this exercise with any of your goals, one at a time or all together. You’ll soon notice your dreams drawing nearer.
Meditation of the Day
Assume a lotus position, close your eyes, and envision yourself in a forest. Immerse yourself in its scents and sounds: the humming of bees, the rustling of hares in the underbrush, and the melodies of birds. One sound gradually stands out – the resonating call of a trumpet. Follow its sound as you depart the forest and discover a majestic castle with a messenger atop its tower.
The messenger beckons you, and you ascend to the tower, overlooking the world below. All forces, resources, living and non-living elements in this world await your command. Seize the trumpet and call forth all that you desire with each breath. Watch as your dreams materialize on the castle’s walls – bags of riches, ideal companions, and everything else. Let your imagination run wild.
Feel the abundance of this world and trust that it contains everything you seek. Remember, the more precise your practices on the 14th lunar day, the greater the likelihood that your dreams will manifest during this lunar cycle. The lunar calendar will aid in effectively planning your goals across various aspects of life.
